A textile workshop that advocates respect, love and exploration of textile creation.
Edited and produced by Rubelli under the creative direction of Formafantasma.

Formafantasma is a design studio based on research into the ecological, historical, political and social forces shaping the discipline of design today. Whether designing for a client or developing projects on its own initiative, the studio applies the same rigorous attention to context, process and detail. Formafantasma's analytical nature translates into meticulous visual results, products and strategies.

Kieffer happily navigates warp and weft with the confidence that details make all the difference. He sees textiles as the preferred interface for tactile exploration of the domestic environment. It intertwines the archetypal and simple with the bold and adventurous. It cares for quality, durability, nuance and integrity of production processes.

Kieffer produces near Lake Como, in the Rubelli factory, but chooses to expand globally when it makes sense to include other competencies.

MATERIALS

This collection focuses on both what is needed and what is desired, starting from the timeless beauty and functionality of natural fibers: wool, linen, hemp, jute, cotton and paper. Touch occupies a central place and is explored from the subtle to the excessive. The innate seduction of undyed fabrics and natural pigments is highlighted by combining them with touches of synthetic colors lime, lilac and pink.

Kieffer is a celebration of the simplicity and care of the wonderful imperfections of the loom, the subtlety of the tonal compositions of colors and the pleasure of touch. Untitled is simple, sensitive and a celebration of natural fibers.
