Founded in 1928, NOBILIS, from the Latin Nobile, distinguished, tasteful... It is under this name that Adolphe Halard, founder of the company, opens in 1928 a store at 29 rue Bonaparte, between the Saint Germain-des-Prés church and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Surrounded by painters of famous paintings of which Susana Fontan, he becomes editor of collections of wallpapers and fabrics expressing the sensibilities of contemporary artists: the NOBILIS spirit was thus born. The quality and the high-end finish of its products and services quickly gave NOBILIS an international reputation. Today, thanks to its subsidiaries and its network of agents with nearly 200 partners in Europe, the United States and the Middle East, NOBILIS markets its products all over the world.

BOUDOIR COLLECTION

Alhambra is a chenille yarn velvet that explores the iconography of the pomegranate motif and evokes the richness of the Italian Renaissance. Kupka is a bold velvet full of contrasts; its textured shapes recall the non-figurative landscapes of early 20th century painters. The chenille Cluny velvet with an aged look transports us to 17th century Flanders, the birthplace of the Verdure motif. The luxurious Numa velvet, with a glossy matte contrast and motifs of ducks wandering among reeds and water lilies.

Velours Faon completes the Nobilis repertoire of animal velvets, this is the result of a semi-craft approach coupled with antique and rare looms, which gives it its exceptional quality and uniqueness. Velours Tiger and Velours Léopard are two emblematic animal designs, velvet jacquards woven on traditional looms.

Portissol stripe is the summer stripe of this collection. It has a relaxed feel thanks to its supple feel and matte appearance.
