Established in 1993 by Stephen Lewis and Joanna Wood, the firm specializes in fabrics and wallpapers of original designs and high quality. Since then, Lewis & Wood has created a substantial collection of fabrics and wallpapers, mostly produced in Great Britain. The company's success lies in its determination to be different.
The commitment to producing original products begins in the printmaking studio, where creative director Magdalen Jebb collaborates with all kinds of freelance designers from different disciplines to encourage an original approach. They also work with weavers, dyers and printers to try out new techniques. This is not always easy, but it makes the result much more interesting.
