This house has a great capacity to produce handmade fabrics using both traditional techniques and innovative technologies for both conception and production.

Rubelli fabrics decorate homes, hotels, castles, museums and theaters all over the world. The Rubelli name is also subject to projects aimed at adding value to cultural and artistic heritage, in the name of a textile tradition and a love of art that has always been part of the Venetian group's history.

VENEZIANI FRAMMENTI VENEZIANI

2023 has started in the most exciting way for the Rubelli company, as it has just presented in Paris its new collection entitled
Frammenti Veneziani.

The Rubelli 2023 collection proposes a Venetian journey. A journey composed of various stages and encounters with different materials that are the hallmark of Venice, shown in precious and meaningful fragments.

Fragments of textile, creations from other times saved and preserved in archives, become very valuable elements to compose new designs. Simple fragments become a source of inspiration for new creations, formed by new warps and new wefts. The fabrics appropriate effects typical of other materials - the reflections of glass, the shine of metals, the consistency of materials used in architecture, etc.

A journey into new worlds, an exploration synonymous with innovation.

RETURN TO ARCADIA
Luke Edward Hall

"When I'm designing a room, one of the most crucial elements is the mix of fabrics, and this idea was the starting point for my collection with Rubelli. My favorite types of fabrics make up the collection: stripes and florals, geometrics, small prints and large prints. My inspiration for the designs came from my garden in the English countryside, and my love of the art and architecture of ancient Greece and Rome shines through: lyres, temples, statues and classical faces appear among the flowers, leaves and stars.
Color is key in all my production, and my favorite shades are peppered throughout this range: dusty violet, olive green, mustard and pale pink, emerald, sky blue and burnt orange....
I'm particularly proud of the fact that each of the designs started with drawings, even the stripes were hand-drawn by me before turning them into digital patterns.
The result is a collection with a very handmade feel, full of character and joy."

SECOND FIRING
Peter Marino

A textile capsule collection conceived by the multifaceted creativity of the well-known American architect Peter Marino.

Second Firing is a collection of ten fabrics whose name refers to the firing of ceramics in the kiln.

Peter Marino was inspired by the ceramic collection of Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, a French artist/ceramist of the late 19th century, known for his innovative glazes and, in particular, for having invented an oxblood red glaze, which bears his name: the "rouge Dalpayrat". The multicolored vases created by Dalpayrat impressed Peter Marino by the mix of colors in the glazes, but also by their modernity.
