LES OLIVADES IN LANTERO AND LANTERO. CLASSIC PROVENCAL FABRICS

Les Olivades has become the leading brand in the French Provençal style. The origin of this company is due to Lèonard Quinché. In 1818, he teamed up with two people from Tarascon and created a factory in St Etienne du Grès, a small Provençal village at the foot of the Alpilles mountains. The fabrics are printed, washed and dried. Then, the company passed from hand to hand until 1948, when it was absorbed and became the Avignon Printing Fabrics Company (SAIT) of Pierre Boudin.

In 1977, he created, with the help of his wife Paule, Les Olivades, being controlled and managed by his children and grandchildren who manage to perpetuate the ancient art of printing fabrics in the South of France, evolving and adapting to the present life. Les Olivades is a pioneer brand in terms of high-end products manufactured and sold by the same company.

"Les Olivades is the only company that perpetuates Provençal printed fabrics following the tradition born in Marseille in 1648".
