Established in 1970, the company is led and owned by siblings Tricia Guild, founder and creative director, and Simon Jeffreys, group executive chairman. Designers Guild designs and sells furniture fabrics, wallpapers, upholstery and bed and bath sets worldwide. The firm currently stocks nearly 9,000 fabrics and 2,000 wallpapers including floral prints and geometric fabrics; plains, checks and stripes, jacquards, tapestries, silks, velvets and children's collections. The highest qualities of fabrics are chosen as the basis of origin; from Egyptian cotton, Scottish linens, Swiss damasks etc.
