Founded in 2016 by Stefan Ormenisan, creative director, and Victor Serban, managing director, MINDTHEGAP started its journey as the main brand of a global art production company, designing and producing wallpapers and wall art. MINDTHEGAP is headquartered in Transylvania, next to their production plant, where they manufacture wallcoverings, lighting and framed prints, producing their papers in Germany and Finland and printing them in Transylvania.
From the hidden and unknown to the instantly recognizable and iconic, they pay homage to art, architecture, artifacts, culture, rituals and people from the four corners of the globe. Created with an appreciation for the history of art and design, their collections feature a myriad of different styles, each with a strong aesthetic identity inspired by the wondrous creations of mankind.
